The interior of the Frontier is simple and straight-forward, yet elegant and well designed. An available leather wrapped steering wheel offers cruise control and audio setting buttons. Get where you’re going with Nissan Navigation System featured on a large display on the stylish center console.

The interior lining is offered in seven remarkable types of cloth and three types of perforated leather that wrap the seats in pronounced beauty and refinement.

Engines and Drive of the Nissan Frontier
The Frontier comes with a standard 2.5 L 4-cyliner engine producing 152 HP and 171 lb-ft of torque. Want some more power? A 4.0 L V6 engine is also available that ups the ante with 261 HP and 281 lb-ft of torque.

A five-speed manual transmission is standard, while a six-speed manual and five-speed automatic transmission are optional. The Frontier is seriously responsive and the V6 power is impressive, with an automatic transmission that delivers well timed, smooth shifting.

The vehicle, with its standard powertrain, gets 19 mpg in the city and 23 mpg on the highway. The six-cylinder changes that to 16 mpg in the city, and 23 mpg on highway roads.

Trim Levels for the Nissan Frontier
The Frontier comes decked out in five unique trim levels – the S, SV 4-CYL. /V6, Desert Runner, PRO-4X and SL.

The S is powered by the 2.5 L 4-cylinder engine with 152 hp and 171 lb-ft of torque, 5 speed manual transmission or available 5-speed automatic transmission, 15” steel wheels, Active Brake Limited Slip, ladder frame, 7” touch-screen display, four speaker audio system, Rear View Monitor, power locks and windows, Vehicle Dynamic Control and Tire Pressure Monitoring System. This trim is available as a King Cab or Crew Cab.

Move a step up to the SV 4-cyl. /V6 includes everything in the S model, plus 16” six spoke aluminum wheels, body colour front bumper, chrome rear bumper, remote keyless entry, tilt steering column, power door locks and windows, sliding rear window, sun visors with vanity mirrors and extension.

The crew cab adds additional power with the 4.0 L V6 engine, 6-speed manual transmission or available 5-speed automatic transmission, four full-sized doors and six speaker audio system. Additional upgrade packages are also available, including the Value Truck Package, Midnight Edition, and Moonroof Package.

The Desert runner is another step up, and it includes everything on the SV 6 plus Bilstein off-road performance shocks, 16” aluminum alloy wheels with all-terrain tires, fog lights, satin chrome grille, body colour rear bumper, 8-way manual drivers seat, white faced gauges, and Frontier embroidered cloth seat trim. The crew cab adds four full-size doors and six speaker audio system.The PRO-4X comes in King Cab or Crew Cab, and comes with everything on the SV V6 plus Bilstien off-road shocks, electronic locking rear differential, skid plates, 16” aluminum alloy wheels with all-terrain tires, automatic headlights and fog lights, Utili-track Channel system, spray-on bed liner, satin chrome grille, body colour rear bumper and outside mirrors, NissanConnect 5.8” touch-screen display with navigation system and voice recognition, rear sonar system, duel zone temperature control, embroidered seat trim, 8-way manual drivers seat, heated front seats, white faced gauges, and leather wrapped steering wheel.

The crew cab adds 6-speed manual transmission or available 5-speed automatic transmission, four full-size doors and Rockford Fosgate ten speaker audio system. The Premium Package is also available for this model.

At the top level, the SL Crew Cab adds to the features of the SV V6 with 18” aluminum alloy wheels, automatic headlights and fog lights, Utili-track Channel System, spray-on bedliner, chrome front bumper, outside mirrors and door handles, heated outside mirrors, power sliding moonroof, body colour side mouldings, step rails, 5.8” touch screen display, navigation system with voice recognition, Rockford Fosgate ten speaker audio system, Rear Sonar System, leather-appointed seats, power adjustable driver and passenger seats, heated front seats, and leather wrapped steering wheel and shift knob.
